Dear SPD Professional:

On July 8 we received an e-mail from Representative Kyrsten Sinema from the Arizona State House of Representatives.  Representative Sinema is the legislator that we have been working with toward making certification for CS/SPD techs mandatory in our state.

 The purpose of her e-mail was to let us know that since our Governor vetoed 70% of the budget last week, the legislature is now in special session trying to work on this before the state shuts down. She went on to inform us that she will likely not be available to think about any legislation other than the budget until they resolve this $2.1 billion crisis.

 While this is a set back for our objective, it does not signify the end of our efforts.  It simply delays them.  We will keep you informed.
